I have loved incorporating Hyperdocs activities into my classroom and look forward to finding more innovative ways to use these.

Summer reading, summer writing

Write a story about them. Write a letter that presents an argument and explains a point of view. Children who read throughout the summer gain skills, can start the new school year with a better understanding of language and the world around them, and discover the joy of reading.

Send a message in code to a friend. Does your paper just end, or have you brought it to a conclusion, restated your position, or presented a call for action as to what should happen next in regards to this issue? Use other animal names or summer words for a second round.

Leave notes around the house leading to other notes. List all the things you will need to survive. Write it on a recipe card. Write for parents, siblings, teachers, peers, or pets. Serve the drink to your friends. Compare the two pieces.

STEM Camps

I want to find more diverse stories for students to devour — stories with characters that may or may not look, act, or think like them. What would you do first, second, and third? When I opened the package, the care and consideration were obvious and it was tremendously appreciated.

Make a list of words to describe fireworks. Write about whatever comes to mind, what you see, or something you want. This could be a quote from the book or an outside sources take care to cite in MLA formata question for the reader that the paper then seeks to answer, ex.

Students will be grouped by their capability. The program is designed to help the students develop clear concepts of writing, while strengthening grammar and building vocabulary.

Literacy Education

If you are looking for a basic reading program that is just reading and answering questions, this is not it. Reading builds a student's vocabulary and comprehension skills, enhances communication skills, and improves writing abilities.
